Still, I have a couple of 3-socket war spikes and I think a 3-socket scourge available However, I hate to burn one of my few remaining Um runes to make something that I likely won't use again once I Pat this character (unless I go completely berserk and make a lightning sorc), and the weapon best suited to it, the phase blade, is a sword and also one I don't have with 3 sockets. I am REALLY tired of this weapon and would prefer to avoid using it if at all possible.Ĭrescent Moon looks terrific, with the -enemy lightning resist, chance to cast, physical damage, and IAS.
Lightsaber, of course, has the nice IAS, ITD, more lightning damage, and magic damage, but it also has the drawback of having already been the endgame weapon of two of my Pats. The Atlantean, despite being a sword, is tempting for the physical damage, assuming I up it, and +2 pally skills, but really doesn't have much else to recommend it. It also has the bonus of not being a sword, which I'm growing a little tired of seeing. I like Nord's for the decent speed and physical damage, freezes target, and cold damage this would allow me to forego pumping Holy Freeze as a backup aura for LI's and instead put those points into Zeal for better AR and physical damage for the LICI bosses, plus much less stress defensively with being surrounded by ice sculptures instead of monsters. I'm also considering the Crescent Moon runeword.
Therefore, I want to be prepared.ġ) What should my endgame weapon be? My options are pretty limited, with Nord's Tenderizer, The Atlantean (possibly upped, not sure yet), and Lightsaber being my top candidates. Expression error: Unexpected round operator.I've currently got a Tesladin up to level 60, middle of Act 3 NM, and things have been very easy so far, but I know that will change once I get to Hell.
